Single Sided Hearing Loss

Product Features

We typically recommend either a CROS or a BiCROS system. A CROS system consists of a single microphone and single receiver contained in two individual devices (one for each ear). The ear with little-to-no functional hearing is fit with the microphone-equipped device, and the ear with normal hearing is fit with the receiver-equipped device. Sound arriving at the ear with hearing loss will then transmit through a wireless connection to the receiver-equipped device on the normal-hearing ear — to help you hear sounds regardless of which side they’re coming from.

A BiCROS system consists of a microphone-equipped device that is fit to the poorer-hearing ear and a conventional hearing aid fit to the better-hearing ear that has some hearing loss.

Customer Reviews

Very professional , nice office, great staff, it's their product that is faulty.

Michael Miller, on Google

I had a small break in the casing of one in-ear hearing aid and within minutes it was fixed, both aids were cleaned and I was on my way again. Excellent and absolutely friendly service. I love my hearing aids and the continuing great service I receive from Hearing Unlimited.

Michael Smith was very good at explaining all of my options. I felt if I had problems with my hearing aids he would take care of me. Felt very pleased when we left

He was very nice, we talked a little and then tested my hearing. What I found out was I'm not hearing the high notes, only it's not bad enough to treat yet
